I work as a producer and editor for a video series that reaches 150k+ people a week. My work is extremely fulfilling and my ability to be a force for good in the lives of those around me is greatly enhanced. Each week I read comments from our viewer and realize how impactful my work is on a daily basis.
Interestingly enough, I have been able to use my entrepreneurial skillset in this line of work. Video production is all about creating content for the end viewer. Oftentimes we fall into a trap of creating content we want, but the true success comes from being innately attuned to the audiences needs and pain points. I have been able to play a role in making changes to the brand as well as catering our content to the end viewer. This has been so fun to be a part of, and I am grateful to be part of such an awesome team of creative people.
